Warp Drive in the Midnight Express
What most people don't realize is that the Chrylser Corporation didn't flirt with bankruptcy because of poor business practices, nor bad products, but because they poured vast sums of money into developing their here-to-now highly top secret Warp Drive engine for all their hemi-powered vehicles.
I offer you the following pictorial proof, taken from the cockpit of your very own correspondent's 2007 Dodge Durango, equipped with the long-rumored and never before seen 5.7L Hemi Chrysler Warp-Drive.
My trustee co-pilot Maciej Wolniewicz, a crack test pilot with the Polish Airforce, guided me through the worm-holes that dot the Kerrisdale countryside.
Evidence was gathered with my Nikon D700 and the Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8 Zoom lens. Additional illumination was provided by a remotely triggered Nikon SB 800 Speedlight. Exposures were from two to eight seconds at f/5.6 to f/8.
Additional warp drive footage can be found on Flickr.

Great picture. I like the narrative as much as I like the photo.
ReplyDeleteCome on...anybody can tell you don't have warp-drive...cuz if you did you wouldn't be hanging around Wetsville. You'd'a aimed it south!
ReplyDeleteAfter a week of solid rain, there is no denying the urge to head south. I am just too committed to my craft!
ReplyDeleteThen again, there's something to be said for shooting more sunsets and fewer puddles.... lol
