Cypress Bowl is the designated site of many of the snowboarding events at this year's Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. There's just one little nagging problem -- no snow to speak of, and not much winter!
We've been having some great fog banks rolling into Vancouver so I darted up after class tonight to try and get some shots of the cityscape shrouded in mist. Hah! The late afternoon sun burned off all the fog and even at ten o'clock at night it was absurdly clear. ...sigh*
My shots were rather uninspired this evening. Still, it only took me twenty-five minutes to get to this spot up on Cypress so I'll keep a weather eye out for fog and spring into actions when the conditions turn in my favor.
I settled for some three to five minute exposures with my Nikon D700 and the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII zoom lens.

Even though the fog was not there, you still got some very nice city shots. Love seeing all those lights :)
