Street Light

Had all kinds of things going on today.  It was in fact a bit overwhelming, what with all my many obligations (rest assured I am well aware that they are all self-inflected).  However, by very late in the afternoon, after the sun had faded over the horizon, I had a chance to do a quick shoot with a lovely model.  I was shooting with three different light sources, street lights, fluorescent lights and my Nikon SB 800 Speedlight.  I tried to balance the light as best as I could figure, and part of my brain is still figuring...

The concept was to make the shot look like gritty street photography but with a bit of a fashion feel.

Trusty Nikon D700 and 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII Nikon lens and SB 800 Speedlight through a diffusion panel.
