Back Alley Bar and Lounge
I took my camera out today, but the best "image" I ended up with today was an image I found while walking my dogs through the back alleys of Kitsilano. So, if you can have "found art", this is my submission for a "found image". Behind a green stucco condo with white garage doors, was this white leather sectional couch, tragically missing its legs. Honestly, as I walked by I did a double-take because this looked like an art installation. And I fell in love with the juxtaposition of the white garage doors and their lines, with the straight lines and curves of the white couch. The couch, she spoke to me...
It's minimalist decorating at its best. Stark, uncluttered, an alley and back lane where you can entertain your friends in understated, restrained elegance. I thought I heard someone whispering Danish in the hedges....
I liked this image in color and I liked this image in B&W. Opinions?
Apple iPhone 3GS.
- Vince Hemingson in the heart of Kitsilano.
PS - On the running front, I managed an easy 13K. On the cooking front, a roast beast.

Although a B&W fan, I have to say that monochromatic scenes in colour have to be collected and featured wherever possible. Colour is more powerful in its absence. How Zen is that?
